Our client is a leading International Manufacturer of a complete range of Electrical Test and Measurement products servicing Utilities, Government, Industrial and Mining Applications. The business is well established in Australia and as part of its global commitment for expansion has an immediate opportunity for an Application Engineer to join them at their Head Office in Sydney. The position will support the business across Australia and New Zealand.    

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role will include technical support for the field based sales engineers and product training for local staff and customers including Consultants, Specifiers and End-Users.

The ideal candidate will be from an Electrical Engineering background as an employee or contractor to the Power Utilities Industry with a working knowledge of transformers, relays and circuit breakers, additionally strong computer literacy with excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Opportunity for International travel for training and conferences will be part of this exciting position.
