Our client is a leading International Manufacturer of a complete range of Electrical Test and Measurement products selling into Utilities, Government, Industrial and Mining Applications. The business is well established in Australia and as part of its global commitment for expansion has an immediate opportunity for a Sales and Application Engineer to join them to cover the territory of Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.  

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role will include servicing established customers, building new business opportunities, creating awareness of this industry leading brand and building relationships with Consultants, Specifiers and End-Users.

The ideal candidate will be a front line sales person with high energy levels, with experience selling and promoting to the key industry sectors, be computer literate with excellent communication and presentation skills. Relevant commercial experience in negotiating contracts and pricing and having a background in electrical industrial sales or installation with relevant electrical trades or engineer qualifications is preferred. Opportunity for International travel for training and conferences will be part of this exciting position.
